Parent Participation
Parents are required to take part in the formation and sacramental preparation of their children.
Mass attendance
Attending Mass on Sundays and Holy Days is required as part of proper formation for those receiving sacraments.
Grades 1-5
Wednesdays 5:45pm - 7pm at Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School (Lower Campus)
Grades 6-8
Wednesdays 6pm - 7:15pm in the St. Louis Activity Center (SLAC)
Grades 9-12: Youth Night
Sundays 6:30pm - 8:00pm in the St. Louis Activity Center. Doors open at 6:00 for open gym and fellowship! A meal will be provided at each Youth Night.
Grades 9-12: Rooted
Wednesdays 7:00pm-8:pm in the St. Louis Activity Center. For our teens who are ready to go deeper in their faith.
Special Events
Various opportunities will be announced throughout the year to invite high schoolers to participate in additional engaging formation offerings.
Sacraments
Confirmation
The youth will participate in youth nights to receive necessary formation focusing on confirmation and ensuring essential and basic truths and practices of the faith are evident in each person.
First Holy Communion and First Confession
Formal preparation for these sacraments begins in the second grade. Time required is evaluated on an individual basis and depends on an the demonstration of attaining an appropriate level of formation.

All middle and high school students (6th-12th grade) can register online if they have received first communion. To register for 5th grade and below, or middle and high schoolers who still need to receive first communion, contact Zulma Diaz (254) 754-1221 ext 0218.
