One of the best ways to glorify God is to serve him by helping others to worship Him at Mass. This is a solemn opportunity that ennobles those who serve as well as those who are served. This means that we take the time to be trained, prepared by prayer, and ready to serve in a manner that speaks to dignity of the divine proceedings.
All confirmed and practicing, not aware of any scandal or prohibition from serving are invited to serve. There are many ways to do so. Below we list just a few.
Altar Servers help us understand the heavenly order and directs our hearts and minds, especially with distractions, back to the most important act of our lives - worship.
One of the most visible ways to serve God at Mass is to volunteer as a lector, usher, or a Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC's). To do so is to take a leadership role in helping be Christ's voice in proclaiming the word, his hands by helping people arrive to Mass, and to be blessed to give him to others as a EMHC.
Our Choir helps to magnify the mystery of God's love for us in the Mass and to foster saints through beauty, prayer, and worship.
